Blanchard Lions Victorious Ada Thanks To Fourth Inning Boost
Blanchard Lions knocked in eight runs in the fourth on its way to a 12-2 victory over Ada on Tuesday. Blanchard Lions put the pressure on, lead by sacrifice flies by Jack Kiker and Camden Cooper, home runs by Cooper and Bryce Madron, and by Tyler Henry.
Blanchard Lions fired up the offense in the first inning, when Ty Vanmeter singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
Blanchard Lions put up eight runs in the fourth inning. Cooper, Kiker, Madron, Henry, and Cooper all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Colby Reed pitched Blanchard Lions to victory. He went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out nine.
J McFarlane took the loss for Ada. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and six runs.
