Miller Throws Shutout As Blanchard Lions Varsity Defeats Bethany In Regional Final

Payton Miller shut down Bethany, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Blanchard Lions Varsity to a 16-0 victory on Saturday
Tyler Henry led Blanchard Lions Varsity to victory by driving in four runs. He went 2-for-3 at the plate. Henry drove in runs on a home run in the second and a home run in the fifth.
Blanchard Lions Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Bryce Madron homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Blanchard Lions Varsity notched four runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Jack Kiker, a home run by Colby Reed, and a double by Callen Golloway.
A single by Asher Peck in the first inning was a positive for Bethany.
Miller was the winning pitcher for Blanchard Lions Varsity. He lasted five innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out ten and walking one.
