Blanchard Lions Win State Championship Over Harrah

Blanchard Lions Varsity took the lead late and defeated Harrah 14-5 on Wednesday. Blanchard Lions Varsity was down 5-4 in the top of the fifth inning when Kale Miller singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Miller led Blanchard Lions Varsity to victory by driving in five runs. He went 3-for-4 at the plate. Miller drove in runs on a double in the second, a single in the fifth, and a double in the sixth.
Blanchard Lions Varsity got on the board in the second inning. Blanchard Lions Varsity scored one run when Payton Miller doubled.
Jace Beck toed the rubber for Blanchard Lions Varsity. He lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out ten.
Tyler Delong was on the hill for Harrah. He allowed eight hits and ten runs over four and a third innings, striking out three. Garrett Revene, Diego Aguilar, and Mason Wildman each contributed in relief for Harrah.
Blanchard Lions Varsity socked one home run on the day. Jack Kiker went for the long ball in the fifth inning.
Blanchard Lions Varsity totaled 14 hits. Callen Golloway, Miller, Miller, and Ty Vanmeter each managed multiple hits for Blanchard Lions Varsity. Miller and Golloway all had three hits to lead Blanchard Lions Varsity.
