No. 2 Lions Complete Sweep in Catoosa

Blanchard Wrestling traveled to Catoosa for a three day road trip in which they dualed Catoosa and Cascia Hall in a triangular and competed in the Catoosa Port City Tournament.  The Lions swept the events defeating No. 4 Catoosa 47-27 after hammering Cascia Hall 66-12 on Thursday evening before winning the 1st place team trophy

Lions Jump to No. 2 Ranking for Tournaments, Take 4th at Cushing Tournament

The Lions traveled to Cushing to compete in the Cushing High School Tournament on Friday and Saturday, January 5th and 6th.  The tournament is perennially a tough contest and this year was no different.  The Lions finished in 4th place behind Allen, the No. 1 ranked 6A team in Texas, #1(3A) Perry, and #2(5A) Collinsville.

The Blanchard Wrestling team traveled to the Reno, NV for the second straight year to compete in the Reno Tournament of Champions.  The tournament is billed as the “toughest tournament in the USA”  and  once again featured a loaded high school field that included nearly 60 high school teams from coast to coast.  Blanchard was

#3 Lions Sweep Wrestling Tournament Honors

The 2nd Annual Blanchard High School tournament was held at the high school gym Friday, December 8th, through Saturday, December 9th.   The #3 ranked Lions hosted 21 other teams from three states, including #2 (3A) Comanche, #4 Elgin, #8 Clinton, #9 (3A) Marlow, and #14 Newcastle.  Blanchard walked away the team championship surpassing tournament runner-up
